Rates and Fees

Tank set-

TriCounty Gas follows state and federal                                                                codes on all gas installations.  Tank Sets include delivering tank, trenching (if conditions allow), installing gas line, tracer wire, first and second stage regulators, two risers, providing and hooking up a pigtail at the tank and putting a shut off valve at the house.  A safety check of the complete gas piping system is performed and all appliances are converted to propane if needed.

Service Calls-

TriCounty Gas provides service for most propane needs or applications. Our 2011 hourly rate is $52.00 per hour plus mileage

Out of Gas Calls / Off Route Calls-

Additional charges are applied to will call customers needing propane delivered off route or running out of propane.  Delivery’s made off route are currently charged $2.50 per mile or a minimum fee of $15.00.  Out of gas calls delivered after hours are assessed at $78.00 per hour plus mileage.  A leak check that is required by the State, Federal government and our insurance is an additional $75.00 charge.  All of the above charges that would apply will be paid at the time of delivery including propane.  Premier customers are exempt from these charges.

Fuel Surcharges & Regulatory compliance charges-

During times when fuel prices escalate, TriCounty Gas may have to implement additional charges to cover the higher cost of motor fuel and the federal regulations applied to the delivery of propane. Premier customers are exempt from these charges.
